General Aims/ Objectives

To provide the requisite foundation for career in Hospitality & Tourism Management.

To serve as the foundation for more advanced study in Hospitality & Tourism Management.

To provide specialized studies directly relevant to individual vocations and professions in which students are working or intend to seek employment in both local and abroad.

Origin of Course/ Examination

Student will be awarded a Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management.

Course Description
DHTM (Part 1)
Module 1	- Sale and Marketing
Module 2	- Customer Care and Front Office
Module 3	- Travel and Tourism Enviroment
Module 4	- Food and Beverage Operations

DHTM (Part 2)
Module 1	- Physical Resources Operations
Module 2	- Food Hygiene and the Enviroment
Module 3	- Management Perspectives in Travel and Tourism
Module 4	- Managing Financial Resources

1 year Diploma Course

Course Objective

To provide the requisite foundation for career in Hospitality & Tourism Management.

To serve as the foundation for more advanced study in Hospitality & Tourism Management.

To provide specialized studies directly relevant to individual vocations and professions in which students are working or intend to seek employment in both local & abroad.

Duration

This is two semester course. Each Semester lasts for 6months. ***Industry excursion attached

Minimum Entry Requirement

Interested applicants should have any one of the following qualifications:

1) 16 years old and above and

2) High School Qualification or Equivalent or

3) GCE O level credits including a Credit in English

4) Mature Candidates (21 years old and above with 3 years of relevant working experience)
